We're breaking up with JavaScript frontends
http://triskweline.de/unpoly-rugb/This site uses unpoly.
It is a very nice, simple library that enhances plain old html/css and provides some handy functionality. Most importantly, it starts with server side rendered html as it's building block, and lets you build nice things up from that point. You don't need to go all in on a javascript frontend to get some nice feeling bits and pieces.
Some related projects to look at are: - https://intercoolerjs.org/ - https://stimulusjs.org/ - https://github.com/turbolinks/turbolinks
Both stimulus and turbolinks come out of basecamp.
