Qualitative data analysis using Microsoft Word comments | carsten knoch: essays + ideas

A very interesting use of Microsoft Word's inbuilt comment functionality for qualitative data analysis.

This particularly interesting to me because:

• people are already familiar with Word
• lot's of qualitative work doesn't generate a lot of data, so the learning curve and jump to using a dedicated tool maybe isn't worth it
• I like hearing about how software and software functionality can be used in ways that were probably never intended or considered :)
