Qualitative data analysis using Microsoft Word comments | carsten knoch: essays + ideas
https://carstenknoch.com/2018/02/qualitative-data-analysis-using-microsoft-word-comments/A very interesting use of Microsoft Word's inbuilt comment functionality for qualitative data analysis.
This particularly interesting to me because:
- people are already familiar with Word
- lot's of qualitative work doesn't generate a lot of data, so the learning curve and jump to using a dedicated tool maybe isn't worth it
- I like hearing about how software and software functionality can be used in ways that were probably never intended or considered :)
